Dhaka: Bangladesh, grappling with political turmoil and unrest, is now showing a greater inclination towards Pakistan.

While neither the government nor the army is able to control the country, extremists have unleashed terror.

Amidst the internal discontent, Bangladesh is now strengthening its ties with Pakistan.

According to reports, Bangladesh has expressed interest in purchasing Pakistan's JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.

The Pakistani army stated that Bangladesh has shown interest in buying JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft from Pakistan.

A meeting was held in Islamabad on Tuesday between Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, where this deal was discussed.

It was claimed that the potential purchase of JF-17 Thunder aircraft was discussed in detail during the meeting.
