Dubai: Four people, including an Indian national, were injured after two drones fell near Dubai International Airport on Wednesday morning, authorities said. The incident has raised security concerns amid ongoing regional tensions involving Iran.
Officials confirmed that the drones landed in the vicinity of the airport, injuring two citizens of Ghana, one citizen of Bangladesh, and one citizen of India. All four sustained minor injuries and received initial medical treatment.
According to Dubai authorities, security agencies immediately cordoned off the affected area and launched an investigation into the incident. Officials are examining the origin and intended target of the drones.
