Srinagar: Two United States nationals were detained at Srinagar International Airport on Saturday after a satellite phone was discovered in their possession during routine security checks. The incident prompted an immediate response from airport security and intelligence agencies, given the strict regulations surrounding such devices in India.
Officials confirmed that the individuals were intercepted during standard screening procedures. The discovery of the satellite phone raised concerns, particularly due to heightened security protocols in the region.
