Recently released U.S. Justice Department documents related to Jeffrey Epstein include photographs and emails involving Britain’s Prince Andrew, shedding new light on past associations while raising fresh questions about the extent of their contact.
Fresh Release of Epstein-Linked Documents
New Delhi: Newly disclosed records from the U.S. Department of Justice, connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, have brought renewed attention to his links with prominent individuals. Among the materials released are photographs and email exchanges that reference Britain’s former Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III.
The records were made public under a law aimed at increasing transparency around what U.S. authorities knew about Epstein’s crimes and his connections with powerful figures. Epstein died in 2019 while facing charges related to the sexual abuse and trafficking of underage girls.
According to the released files, several photographs show Prince Andrew kneeling on all fours over a woman lying on the ground. In two images, he appears to be touching the woman’s stomach, while another photograph shows him looking directly at the camera. The woman in the images is unidentified and fully clothed.

The documents do not provide details about where or when the photographs were taken, nor do they suggest that any criminal activity occurred during the moment captured.
The files also include email exchanges from August and September 2010, in which Epstein discussed introducing a Russian woman to Prince Andrew. In an email dated August 12, 2010, Epstein addressed Andrew as “The Duke” and suggested that the woman might enjoy having dinner with him while she was visiting London.
Prince Andrew responded by asking what Epstein had told her about him and whether she would be conveying any message on Epstein’s behalf. Later emails indicate that Andrew said he would be in Geneva on certain dates but would be pleased to meet her if schedules aligned.
Epstein described the woman as 26 years old, Russian, and “clever and beautiful,” noting that she already had Andrew’s email address. However, the records do not confirm that any meeting actually took place.
In later correspondence from September 2010, Epstein and Andrew discussed the possibility of meeting in London. One message mentioned the need for “private time,” to which Andrew reportedly replied by suggesting a dinner at Buckingham Palace, noting that there would be ample privacy.
It remains unclear whether such a dinner ever occurred, and the documents do not provide confirmation.
Prince Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to Jeffrey Epstein. He has also denied allegations made by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was trafficked to have sex with him while she was a minor.

In 2022, Andrew reached a financial settlement with Giuffre without admitting liability. Giuffre, a U.S.–Australian citizen, died by suicide in Australia in April.
The release of these documents does not introduce new criminal charges but adds further detail to Epstein’s network of contacts. The disclosures highlight ongoing efforts by authorities and journalists to understand how Epstein maintained relationships with influential figures over many years.
