The regional military administration said that several attacks took place in the Sumy region. A drone attacked a gas station in the city of Putivl, injuring four people, including a five-year-old child. Less than two hours later, another drone attack took place at the same place, injuring seven more people.
After dark, two more powerful Russian glide bombs were dropped on the city of Sumy. 13 people, including a six-year-old child, were injured in this. Regional authorities said five apartment buildings, two private houses and a shopping mall were damaged in the attack.
Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar said the explosions shattered windows of residential buildings and destroyed balconies. On Tuesday, Russia's Defense Ministry said air defense systems shot down 35 Ukrainian long-range drones in several regions overnight, three of which were in the Moscow region.
Peace talks to be held between Russia and Ukraine
