New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the recent attack on an oil facility in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, describing the targeting of civilians and critical infrastructure as “unacceptable.”
In a statement shared on social media, Modi expressed concern over the incident, which left three Indian nationals injured, and extended India’s solidarity with the UAE.

Modi also highlighted the strategic importance of maintaining stability in key maritime routes. Referring to the Strait of Hormuz, he said uninterrupted navigation through the waterway is essential for regional peace and global energy security.
The statement reflects growing concerns over disruptions in critical energy supply routes amid rising tensions in the region.
The attack reportedly struck an oil installation in Fujairah, injuring three Indian citizens working in the area. The Indian Embassy in the UAE has confirmed that it is in close contact with local authorities to ensure proper medical care and assistance for those affected.
Officials are monitoring the situation closely and providing necessary support to the injured individuals.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs also issued a strong response, condemning the attack on civilian infrastructure and urging all sides to exercise restraint.
