New Delhi: Delhi residents are set to experience another day of intense summer heat on Wednesday, with the maximum temperature expected to climb to 46 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is likely to remain around 37 degrees Celsius, offering little respite from the prevailing hot weather conditions.

Meteorologists indicate that temperatures will stay elevated throughout the day, making outdoor activities challenging during peak afternoon hours. The persistent heat is expected to contribute to discomfort levels across the city.

Winds Offer Limited Relief

Light to moderate winds are forecast to blow at a speed of around 7.85 km/h. The wind direction is expected to remain near 274 degrees, while gusts may reach up to 10.36 km/h. Despite the movement of air, weather experts suggest that the winds may provide only limited relief from the soaring temperatures.

Long Daylight Hours Add to Heat Exposure

The sun is expected to rise at 5:22 AM and set at 7:18 PM, resulting in nearly 14 hours of daylight. Extended sunshine is likely to contribute to the intense daytime heating, particularly during the afternoon.

Seven-Day Forecast Signals Continued Warm Weather

The week ahead is expected to remain exceptionally warm. Forecasts indicate a high of 46°C on both Wednesday and Thursday before temperatures gradually ease to 43°C on Friday and 41°C on Saturday. A slight rise to 43°C is anticipated on Sunday and Monday, followed by a return to 41°C on Tuesday.

While temperatures may fluctuate slightly over the coming days, Delhi is expected to remain under the grip of hot weather conditions, prompting residents to take necessary precautions against heat-related risks.
