Akhilesh Yadav's Facebook page suddenly shut down; suspense continues.

However, the incident has sparked heated discussions on social media and in political circles.
Following this incident, it was also discovered that the post made by Akhilesh Yadav on Friday remembering his father, the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, is no longer visible on Facebook.
SP MLA from Meerut, Atul Pradhan, shared the news and said that the government cannot remove Akhilesh Yadav from the public's hearts by shutting down his Facebook account. He said that Akhilesh Yadav is a popular leader, and his popularity cannot diminish.
SP leader Pooja Shukla also claimed on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Facebook suspended the offical page of Akhilesh Yadav without any notice or warning. She criticized Facebook, saying that this was an attempt to suppress democracy and that Facebook should be mindful of its limits.

SP spokesperson Manoj Kaka said that this matter poses a threat to free expression. He has appealed to Meta (Facebook's parent company) to reactivate Akhilesh Yadav's page as soon as possible.
SP spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand said that under the BJP's rule, attempts are being made to suppress the voice of the opposition. He called it an attack on democracy and said that the suspension of the verified account of a leader of a major party is no small matter.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi refused to politicize the issue. He said that Facebook's decision has nothing to do with the BJP.
He said that BJP leaders' accounts have also been suspended or hacked from time to time, so there is no need to make this a political issue. He also said that Facebook should investigate whether there was any content that violated the rules.
There has been no official statement from Meta or Meta India regarding this entire controversy. The issue is heating up on social media, and people are linking it to democracy and freedom of expression.
