Bijapur: Security forces have got a big success in Chhattisgarh. Explosive material thrown in the forest by Maoists has been recovered in a joint operation conducted by security forces in the forest of FOB Gunjeparti area under Usir police station of Bijapur district.

What was recovered?
Security forces have conducted an operation and recovered weapons, explosive making equipment and a large amount of explosive material from the forest of Gunjeparti area. All the recovered equipment and materials were destroyed as per security standards.

A possible big conspiracy of Maoists has been foiled with these items recovered during the joint operation conducted by police and security forces.

Destroyed as per safety standards

All the recovered material was destroyed on the spot following safety standards. According to officials, if these equipment were in the hands of Naxalites, they could have carried out a major attack.

Major blow to Maoist network

Security forces have termed it as an important success towards weakening the Naxalite network. It is clear from this action that Naxalites were constantly trying to prepare explosives on a large scale using industrial equipment and machines, but their plan failed due to the vigilance of the security forces.
