New Delhi: The Election Commission has extended the deadline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in 12 states and union territories by one week. Following this extension, all stages of voter list revision will now be completed according to the new dates.
Citizens can now update their voter details until December 11th. The Commission has taken this step to ensure that all eligible voters can enter their information correctly and avoid any problems while voting in future elections.
Under the new schedule, the draft voter roll will be released on December 16th. After the roll is published, voters will be able to verify their information and take necessary steps to correct any errors.
