Muzaffarnagar: Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait faced massive protests in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. During an event, he was pushed, his turban fell off, and he is even accused of being attacked with a stick.

When the situation worsened, the police had to take him out safely, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Why did the protest erupt?

Tikait's statement on the Pahalgam attack became a controversy. This incident happened at a time when Tikait had given a controversial statement on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He had said, "Who is benefiting from this incident? The thief is among you, not in Pakistan. Who is doing Hindu-Muslim? He has the answer."

This statement caused anger among Hindu organizations, after which there was a massive protest against him in Muzaffarnagar. Tikait became the target in the 'public anger rally against Pakistan.'

A big rally was organized against Pakistan in the town hall of Muzaffarnagar, where a crowd of members of Hindu organizations and local people had gathered. During this rally, Rakesh Tikait was attacked by the crowd, after which heavy police deployment had to be done.

What did Tikait say?

Tikait had questioned the Pahalgam attack and indicated that "there could be an internal conspiracy behind the attack." Many people got angry, considering his statement as a defense of Pakistan, the reaction to which was seen in Muzaffarnagar today.

Accounts of Pak cricket stars also banned
