‘Fast-Track Courts Not The Solution’: CJP Responds To PM Modi’s Message, Reiterates THIS Key Demand

CJP has rejected PM Modi’s announcement of fast-track courts for paper leak cases, calling it inadequate and reiterating its demand for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation.

New Delhi: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Thursday rejected Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of fast-track courts for paper leak cases, calling the proposal a distraction that does not address the root causes of repeated examination leaks.

CJP Reiterates Key Demand

Soon after the Prime Minister announced that the Centre would establish fast-track courts to ensure swift trials and strict punishment for those involved in paper leaks, the organisation responded on X with a brief message:

"Dharmendra Pradhan Must Resign."

CJP said accountability for the alleged failures in the examination system should begin with the Union Education Minister.

‘Fast-Track Courts Are Not the Solution’

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said the government's proposal focused on punishment after paper leaks instead of preventing them.

According to Ranka, the country's examination system requires structural reforms, and students are seeking immediate accountability rather than prolonged legal proceedings.

He alleged that repeated paper leaks reflected systemic failures and argued that reforms would remain incomplete unless responsibility was fixed.

PM Modi Announces Special Courts

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said protecting the future of young people remained the government's top priority.

He announced the creation of fast-track courts for paper leak cases, saying those attempting to damage students' futures would face swift and stringent punishment. The Prime Minister also directed officials to take all necessary steps to implement the decision.

Protests Continue in Delhi

The announcement comes as CJP-led protests over alleged examination irregularities continue in Delhi.

The organisation has maintained that its key demands remain unchanged, including:

• Resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
• Compensation for families of students who allegedly died by suicide
• No prosecution of peaceful protesters
• Action against police personnel accused of using excessive force during demonstrations
