New Delhi: After the Pahalgam attack, when the whole country wanted revenge from Pakistan, confident of our strength and fighting prowess, we believed the intrepid Indian army could drive the terrorists out of India as well.

Seething with anger, India successfully conducted Operation Sindoor and executed more than 100 terrorists and trampled down their hideouts.

After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan attacked India with missiles and drones, but India's S-400 air defence system foiled these attacks and intercepted them, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Instead of trying to vindicate itself of terrorism, maniac Pakistan started attacking India with drones and missiles. This showed how Pakistan and its army bequeathed a legacy of terrorism. India's air defence system was so invincible that the Indians, instead of dreading it, enjoyed the demolition of drones as they enjoy firecrackers during Diwali.

According to the army statement, on the night of May 8, Pakistan fired 300 to 400 missiles at India, but most of the missiles were destroyed by the air defence system on the way. Three days after this war, the Russian-made S-400 air defence system came into the discussion, and people want to know about it.

India had signed a deal of Rs 35,000 crore with Russia in 2018 for 5 squadrons of S-400 to deal with the threat coming from Pakistan and China. India deployed this system on its border.

The S-400 is a very powerful air defence system, which can launch 72 missiles at a time. Its radar can track 300 targets in an area of up to 600 kilometres and can destroy missiles up to 400 kilometres away. The range of its missiles is from 40 to 400 kilometres, and it can also work in temperatures ranging from -50 to 70 degrees.

It has 4 types of missiles

48N6E3—This high-speed missile goes up to 250 kilometres.

40N6E—This long-range missile goes up to 400 kilometres.

9M96E and 9M96E2—These are short-range missiles.

The most expensive missile of the S-400 is the 40N6E, which can cost around 1 to 2 million dollars. Apart from this, the price of other missiles can range from 3 lakh dollars to 10 lakh dollars. In this way, the S-400 further strengthens India's security and helps protect it from enemy attacks. Stay tuned to Dynamite News for further updates.
