Jharkhand Horror: Wild elephants trample six in Hazaribagh village

The tragic incident has sent shockwaves and panic in the entire area. According to villagers, a herd of five elephants entered the village between 1-2 AM while the entire was asleep asleep.

Hazaribagh: At least six people were trampled to death when a herd of wild elephants attacked Gondwar village in the Churchu block of Hazaribagh late on Thursday night.

The deceased have been identified as Suraj Ram (60), Madhu Devi (22), her one-and-a-half-year-old son, and her approximately four-year-old daughter. Suman Devi (20), and Dhaneshwar Ram (60), also died.

A four-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment in the hospital.
