Earlier Incident
An important meeting was held with the chiefs of the three armies at the Prime Minister's residence, which ended a while ago.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, the chiefs of the three armies, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, the Foreign Secretary, the RAW Chief, and the IB Director were also present at this meeting.
On the other hand, talks were also proposed between the DGMO (Director General Military Operations) of India and Pakistan. The time for this conversation was fixed at 12:00 noon, but according to sources, this conversation could not take place at the scheduled time, and it has been delayed. It is expected that this conversation can take place between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
The main issue from India's side in this conversation was about the violation of the ceasefire on May 10. The Indian government says that Pakistan violated the ceasefire just three hours after it was announced, and this has been its old habit. That is why India has not withdrawn its army from the border areas.
India has given a clear message to Pakistan that now if any terrorist activity takes place from Pakistan's side, it will be considered an act of war and will be responded to at the same level. Five major diplomatic decisions taken by the Indian government are still in force. These include bans on trade (import-export), postal services, port services, etc. with Pakistan.
The government also wants there to be no mediation of any third country between India and Pakistan. If any talks are to take place, then it can only be in the context of bringing back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to India.
According to army sources, the DGMO-level talks are getting delayed because both sides are preparing their points properly. A press conference is also proposed at 2:30 pm after the talks, but if the talks are delayed, the time of the press conference can also be changed.
As soon as the talks are over, the Indian Army will give full information to the media.
