New Delhi: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and party supremo K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR)'s daughter Kavitha has resigned from the primary membership of the party a day after being suspended from the party. She made this announcement in an emotional press conference held in Hyderabad.

Kavitha's allegation: "Conspiracy to break Kalvakuntla family"

Kavitha was in tears during the press conference. She said, "This is a conspiracy to break not just me, but the entire Kalvakuntla family."

She appealed to her father, KCR, to pay attention to who is surrounding him. She directly accused her cousins and BRS leaders T. Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar of playing a role behind her suspension.

Why did BRS suspend her?

The notice issued by BRS's disciplinary committee said that Kavitha's recent behavior and anti-party activities were harming BRS. Due to this, party president KCR suspended Kavitha from the party with immediate effect.

Serious allegations by Kavitha

Kavitha made serious allegations against former minister Harish Rao, former Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar, and industrialist Megha Krishna Reddy. She said that these people are responsible for the ongoing CBI inquiry against KCR.
