An official notification announcing the deferment was released by NBEMS on Monday evening. Recently, the Supreme Court had given a big order to conduct the NEET PG exam in a single shift. In the notification issued by the board, the basis for postponing the examination has also been stated as this order of the Supreme Court.
The board said that this order of the Supreme Court will be followed and complete transparency will be maintained in the examination. Along with this, NBEMS NEET-PG 2025 will be conducted in a single shift.

The board has further written in its notification that NEET-PG 2025 to be held on June 15 has been postponed to arrange more examination centers and necessary infrastructure. The board has not yet announced the next date of the examination. The board has said that the revised date for conducting NEET-PG 2025 will be notified soon.
Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. No. 456/2025 (Aditi & Ors Versus National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences & Ors) has ordered that:
"We, accordingly, direct the respondents to make necessary arrangements for holding the NEET-PG 2025, examination in one shift, duly ensuring that complete transparency is maintained and secure centres are identified and commissioned."
Accordingly, NBEMS will conduct NEET-PG 2025 in a Single Shift. NEET-PG 2025 scheduled to be held on 15.06.2025 has been postponed to arrange for more Test Centres and required infrastructure. The revised date for conduct of NEET-PG 2025 shall be notified shortly.
