Parliament Session: LoP Rahul Gandhi demands urgent debate on rising Air Pollution in the House

Rahul Gandhi said that the opposition will be more than happy to cooperate with the government to find effective solutions to curb the rising air pollution.

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi called for a immediate debate on rising air pollution in the Parliament. He said that the Government should not indulge in blame game and chalk out a specific plan for every city to curb the pollution.

Rahul Gandhi said that pollution control committee should be developed in every city to implement the plan efficiently.

The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stressed that it “is not an ideological issue.” He added that the Opposition is “more than happy to cooperate with the government” to find effective solutions.

The LoP said the Government should come out with specific steps to be taken to stop the escalating air pollution particularly in Delhi-NCR.
