New Delhi: Postponing the Shimla Agreement will cost Pakistan extensively. By doing this, Pakistan has opened the way for destruction for itself and shot itself in the foot.
With the postponement of the Shimla Agreement, the countdown for Pakistan begins, and the land that India had previously given away as a charity will now be returned.
India will destroy the terror headquarters in Bahawalpur and also snatch away Pakistan's Chhachro area, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
History of the Shimla Agreement
The two heroes of the 1971 India-Pakistan war - retired Colonel Hem Singh Shekhawat and Thakur Padam Singh Soda. A handful of para commandos and common people, led by Colonel Bhawani Singh, together gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. 15,000 sq km of Sindh, including Chachro, was captured.
India made Pakistan sweat and the Pakistani army fled from the area. However, under the Shimla Agreement, India returned the captured land. Now, there is a demand in India that the time has come to take back the Chachro area that was returned to Pakistan.
Chachro was under our occupation for one year. This area of about 15,000 square kilometers, which India returned to Pakistan, included Chachro.
It is important to mention here that at that time, one lakh people from Chachro in Pakistan migrated to India and are still living in India. Therefore, it is important that Chachro was theirs and Chachro should be taken back. Doing so will boost their morale and teach Pakistan a new lesson.
How is Pakistan on the back foot?
It is quite clear that the conspiracy to terrorize India is hatched across the border in Pakistan. When India took action after the Pahalgam attack, the Pakistani army got busy saving the terrorists hiding across the border. Terrorists started being sent to safe havens from other areas of Pakistan, including POK.
But, after the cancellation of the Shimla Agreement, the countdown of Pakistan's terrorists has started.
Under the Shimla Agreement of 1971, both countries had agreed to resolve other issues including Kashmir through mutual dialogue. After the 1971 war, a new Line of Control was determined, which was recognized by both countries.
India released 93,000 Pakistani prisoners of war unconditionally. Most of the land that India won in the war was also returned to Pakistan.
But, by postponing the Shimla Agreement, Pakistan has given India another free hand. Now the demand is rising that the terrorist headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur, Pakistan should be destroyed.
Countdown Begins
The land of Paav Daton and seven generations was ours. We had won it. Bhawani Singh had attacked, and we had gone along with it. Now the Shimla Agreement has been cancelled.
This land should be taken back. Bahawalpur is a base of terrorists, they should be completely destroyed and driven away."
The suspension of the Shimla Agreement will further reduce Pakistan's already weak diplomatic credibility. It will become even more difficult for Pakistan, which is facing an economic crisis, to garner international support.
