New Delhi: A new international survey that was recently published has placed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world's most popular leader. The survey was carried out by the US business intelligence firm Morning Consult and titled the "Global Leader Approval Tracker." This tracker's July 2025 data showed Prime Minister Modi with 75% approval, placing him at number one worldwide.
This poll was carried out from July 4 through July 10, 2025, when citizens of various nations were requested to state their opinion regarding their leaders. This ranking of Modi reveals that his leadership is being embraced not just in India but across the globe as well.

Overtakes almost every global leader
Speaking of the ranking of other world leaders in this poll, second is South Korea's President Lee Jae-myung with 59% approval. Third is Argentina's President Javier Milei with 57% support. Then come fourth and fifth places for Canada's Mark Carney and Australia's Anthony Albanese with 56% and 54% approval ratings, respectively. While Donald Trump received 44%, Italy's Prime Minister Georgia Meloni received just 40% approval.
This monthly updated tracker by Morning Consult is now a norm of popularity of leaders. This is not only a survey but also an indicator of the opinion of the people concerning the performance of leaders and their policies.
