New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi a Congress MP and the Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition attacked the Election Commission once again. On the social media site X he posted a video along with the caption Vote theft is an attack on the basic democratic principle of one person one vote.

Elections that are free and fair require a clean voter list. Our clear request is that the Election Commission be transparent and make the digital voter list available to the public so that political parties and the general public can conduct their own audits. You can join us in supporting this demand by visiting http://votechori. dot in/ecdemand or by leaving a missed call at 9650003420.

The goal of this battle is to defend democracy. It is a constitutional offense. Rahul repeated his allegations of widespread criminal election fraud with the help of the BJP and the Election Commission in a video that he posted on social media. He had claimed that it was a crime against the Constitution citing a Karnataka constituency analysis.

The Web Portal: What Is It?

Additionally a message on the portal states that vote is the cornerstone of our democracy but the BJP including the Election Commission is methodically attacking it. We found over one lakh fake voters in just one assembly constituency of Bangalore Central which helped the BJP win this Lok Sabha seat the statement said. Free elections would be ruined if this occurred in 70–100 seats.

According to the message on the portal India and Congress have previously expressed concerns in Maharashtra and other places. We have proof now. Well do everything in our power to combat this vote theft. Come defend our democracy with us.

An individual who registers on the portal receives a certificate in his name stating that he opposes vote theft.

'I support Rahul Gandhis demand that the Election Commission provide a digital voter list the certificate states.' Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal and Treasurer Ajay Maken have all signed the certificate.
