Satish Golcha takes charge as new Police Commissioner of Delhi

In his first interaction with senior officials after taking charge, Satish Golcha directed the police force to focus on crime prevention, and ensure better coordination across units for better peace and security in Delhi.

New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Satish Golcha took charge newly appointed Police Commissioner of Delhi at the Police Headquarters here on Friday.

Satish Golcha was appointed the 26th Commissioner of Delhi Police on Thursday, succeeding SBK Singh, who held the post for just 21 days.

Immediately after taking charge, Satish Golcha held a meeting with senior officers to review the law-and-order situation in the National Capital.
