New Delhi: A picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going viral on social media these days, in which a female officer is seen posted in his security. This is the first time that a female officer has been included in the prime minister's security team. The name of this female officer is Adaso Kapesa, who is posted on deputation in the Special Protection Group (SPG).

Who is Adaso Kapesa?

Adaso Kapesa is originally from Kabi village of Senapati district of Manipur. Earlier, she was posted in the 55th Battalion of Pithoragarh as Inspector (General Duty) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Due to her excellent performance, she was selected for training in the SPG, where she completed tough commando training and has now become a part of the Prime Minister's security team.
