New Delhi: In an important development in India’s judicial administration, the Supreme Court Collegium, headed by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, has recommended the transfer of Justice Soumen Sen to the Kerala High Court as its next Chief Justice.
Justice Soumen Sen is currently serving as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court. The Collegium has proposed his elevation to lead the Kerala High Court, one of the country’s largest and busiest High Courts, with a significant caseload and wide jurisdiction.
