UP: Headless body of woman on railway track in Sonbhadra creates sensation all over

Sonbhadra: There was a commotion all around after a headless body of an unknown woman was found lying near the railway track near pole number 137/42 near Obra Dam Railway Station under Obra police station area of ​​the district, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The condition of the body was very gruesome, which gave goosebumps to every person who reached the spot. On receiving the information, GRP police reached the spot and took the body into custody and started investigation.

The villagers saw the body of the woman on the track in the morning, which was separated from the torso and the part above the neck was completely cut off. Looking at the body, it was difficult to even guess what the age of the deceased would have been. The news of the body being found spread like wildfire in the entire area and within a short time a crowd gathered there.

On receiving the information, GRP police reached the spot and started investigation by cordoning off the spot. Efforts were made to identify the body, but the deceased has not been identified yet. The police have sent information to nearby police stations and old missing cases are also being investigated.

Second Incident

It is worth noting that this is the second incident of a body being found near the railway track in the last two days in the same area. Earlier also, the body of an unknown person was found near the same track. Due to such incidents coming to light continuously, the feeling of fear and insecurity has increased among the local people.

Suicide Or Murder? Investigation On

GRP and local police are investigating the incident from many angles. At present it is not clear whether it is a case of suicide or a murder has been committed under some conspiracy and the body has been thrown on the track. Looking at the condition of the body, the police is also suspecting murder.

The police has filled the Panchnama and sent the body for post-mortem, after the report of which some light may be thrown on the cause of death. At the same time, CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being scanned and people are being questioned so that the deceased can be identified.

Fear Among Villagers

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of fear among the villagers around Obra Dam station. People say that the security system near the railway track is weak and suspicious activities keep happening every day. The villagers have demanded the administration to increase patrolling in the area and ensure night surveillance.
