PM Modi’s Key Cabinet Meet: Ministers To Discuss Reforms, Policies And Future Roadmap (Img: Pinterest)
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a two-day “Chintan Baithak” (brainstorming session) of Union Cabinet Ministers next week to discuss key aspects of governance and policymaking, with a special focus on reforms, according to sources.
The brainstorming session will be held in New Delhi on September 23 and 24 and will be attended by all Union Cabinet Ministers, sources said.
All Cabinet Ministers have been asked to remain in the national capital next week.
It is not immediately known whether Ministers of State will also attend the session.
Some ministers are likely to make presentations on policies and measures undertaken by their respective ministries to advance reforms in various sectors, sources said.
The presentations may focus on ways to make the policymaking process more effective and impactful.
The meeting is also expected to include discussions on the progress of government schemes, policy implementation, time management, inter-ministerial coordination and public service delivery, along with the roadmap ahead.
Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly emphasised the importance of reforms and has told his Cabinet colleagues that addressing people's concerns and ensuring ease of living should remain the government’s primary objectives.
The session is expected to provide a platform for ministers to review ongoing initiatives and discuss future strategies for improving governance outcomes.
