Following the party high command's directive, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar have met twice over breakfast. During these meetings, both leaders conveyed a message of unity and cooperation.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said in a press conference after breakfast at DK Shivakumar's residence on Tuesday, "A decision will be made only when the party high command says so." He also said that the two leaders have always been united and are running the government together. "There are no differences between us. We will work together in the future as well," he said.

Siddaramaiah said that during breakfast, the two leaders also discussed the strategy for the Karnataka Assembly session. He said that they would face the opposition together and take collective decisions on government-management issues. DK Shivakumar also stated that he and the Chief Minister are working as a team and will make joint efforts to fulfill the promises made to the state.
Speculation and discussions regarding the top post in Karnataka have been ongoing for the past few days. Meanwhile, the party high command in Delhi directed that the two leaders should meet. The high command also indicated that they would decide the issue of future leadership changes based on their own timeframe and circumstances.
