Bureaucracy: Four IPS shifted in UP; DG Jail SN Sabat removed

Amid the ongoing voting for the third phase in Uttar Pradesh, the government has transferred four IPS officers in the state. Read the full report of Dynamite:

Lucknow: Amidst the ongoing voting for the third phase in Uttar Pradesh, the government on Tuesday reshuffled the police department and transferred four IPS officers.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, along with the transfers of four IPS officers, DG Jail SN Sabat has been removed. PV Ramasastry has been appointed as the new DG Jail.

Besides, IPS Anand Swaroop has been sent to the Police Headquarters as Additional Director General. Meanwhile Dr N Ravinder has been posted as Additional Director General of Police and GSO of Director General of Police.

Till now he was posted as Additional Director General of Police in Police Headquarters. He was also holding the additional charge of Director General GSO.
