Delhi: Safdarjung Railway Station turns into ‘Pink’

Delhi: Safdarjung Railway Station in the national capital was transferred into a 'Pink' station, with the entire operation managed by women staff.

The announcement was declared on International Women's Day.

The step was taken to highlight the significant role played by women in various branches of the Indian Railways. 

From loco pilots to ticket checkers and security staff, female employees were deployed on this vision.  

Despite challenges like night shifts and on-field troubleshooting, these women are breaking barriers and proving no job is beyond their reach.
