New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday discrubed fourth tranche of economic stimulus will focus on reforming structure announced by the government on 12 May. These are some news points to know:

Higlights:

1. Structural reforms will impact those sectors which are new horizons of growth, unleashing new investment, boosting production and creating jobs
2. Incentive schemes for the promotion of New Champion Sectors will be launched in sectors such as Solar PV manufacturing
3. Schemes will be implemented in states through challenge mode for Industrial Cluster Upgradation of common infrastructure facilities and connectivity
4. Commercial mining in coal sector to be brought in; govt monopoly to be removed
5. Rs 50,000 cr to be spent by govt for evacuation of mined coal
6. Seamless composite exploration-cum-mining-cum-production regime will be introduced in mineral sector; 500 blocks to be auctioned
7. Govt to notify a list of weapons/platforms banned for imports; such items can only be purchased from India: FM
8. FDI limit in defence manufacturing under automatic route to be raised from 49 pc to 74 pc
9. Restrictions on utilisation of Indian airspace to be eased for civilian flights; Rs 1,000 cr a year benefit to aviation sector
10. Discoms in Union Territories to be privatised
