Eminent educationalist Janki Ballabh Padhee found hanged at his residence
Founder of Padhee Tutorials for IIT and Medical coaching Padhee had started a private +2 Science college Kalinga Bharatee Residential College (KBRC) by investing more than Rs. 100 crore.
Bhubaneswar: Eminent educationalist Professor Janki Ballabh Padhee was on Thursday found hanged at his residence here.
Founder of Padhee Tutorials for IIT and Medical coaching Padhee had started a private +2 Science college Kalinga Bharatee Residential College (KBRC) by investing more than Rs. 100 crore.
Seven years back during CBSE +2 Science Examination, out of best 20, 16 students were placed from his college.
After this success, the Odisha Government started an inquiry against KBRC.
It is said that this success is the main cause of his suicide.
He was mentally harassed by some people.
A 16-page suicide note was found from his room.
The Badagad Police are probing the matter. (ANI)
