Ghazal icon Pankaj Udhas is no more; Passes away at 72

Veteran ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas breathed his last after a long illness in Breach Candy Hospital here in Mumbai. Read further on Dynamite News:

Mumbai: Veteran ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas passed away after a long illness in Breach Candy Hospital here in Mumbai. He was 72. 

In a statement his family said “With a very heavy heart, we are saddened to inform you of the sad demise of Padmashri Pankaj Udhar on February 26, 2024, due to a prolonged illness.”

Taking to his Instagram account, noted singer Sonu Nigam wrote, “One of the most important part of my childhood, is lost today. Shri Pankaj Udhas ji, I will miss you forever. My heart cries knowing that you are no more. Thank you for being there. Om Shanti.”
