Varanasi: The court today directed for completion of the survey of Gyanvapi Masjid by May 17 and submission of its report, said Abhay Nath Yadav who is representing the Gyanvapi Mosque Management Committee.
The court also rejected the plea to change the court-appointed advocate commissioner for conducting a video survey of the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri complex and appointed two additional advocate commissioners, Vishal Kumar Singh and Ajay Singh, to assist him.
The court said that both these persons or either of them will be present during the survey.
The court has also ordered the survey of the basement of Gyanvapi Masjid to be done before May 17.
