Colombo: Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe was sworn in as Sri Lanka’s interim President on Friday until Parliament elects a successor to Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Rajapaksa had resigned after mass protests over the country’s economic collapse forced him from office.
