Maharajganj Drug Smuggler Youth, Recently Released From Jail, Again Arrested In Gorakhpur By UP STF

The UP STF has arrested a Maharajganj youth from Gorakhpur, who is allegedly associated with a banned international drug-trafficking gang. Read on for details:

Gorakhpur: In a major breakthrough, UP Special Task Force (STF) has busted a banned international drug-trafficking gang by arresting a Maharajganj youth in Gorakhpur. STF has recovered 2700 banned drug-injections from his possession along with his car. 

The accused has been identified as Amir Khan s/o Safiq of Village Sukrauli, Thana Sonauli, District Maharajganj. The accused was also arrested earlier in the illegal drug trade and recently came out of Maharajganj jail after being released.

The STF had received an information that a member of a drug trafficking gang was moving with huge consignment of banned drug-injections in his car Ford Fiesta from Gorakhpur to Nepal. After this information, the STF team laid a trap near Bhagwanpur intersection and nabbed the accused with his car and recovered banned drug consigmment.

During interrogation, the accused told the Police  that a person named Lucky, who has a clothes shop in Nautanwa, Maharajganj and Lucky had given him the mobile number of a person. He took the banned drug-injections in Peppeganj from the same person with whom he was now going to the border for their supply in Nepal. 

The police has booked the accused under Section 8/21/23 NDPS Act in Thana Peppeganj, Gorakhpur.
