Man held for stabbing parents in Maharajganj

Maharajganj: A man allegedly stabbed his parents in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district, police said. 

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the incident occurred in Rampur Baldiha village of Ghughli police station area. 

A quarrel broke out between the accused and his parents, which soon turned violent as the man, who was under the influence of alcohol, attacked his parents with a knife, leaving them seriously injured. 

Identity of Accused 
The accused has been identified as Radheshyam. The police reached the spot and rushed his parents to hospital where they are being treated.

SHO Kumar Gaurav told Dynamite News that the accused was in custody. The SHO added that no written complaint has been received in the case yet.
