Addressing a rally at Hospete in Karnataka, Rahul asked the gathering to not trust the NDA government, who make false promises and give false hope.

Further training guns at the Prime Minister over unemployment, Rahul said, "The Prime Minister had promised to give jobs to two crore youth every year. They failed in keeping its promise to employ two crore youth. When we asked the Modi government, in Parliament, that how many people have been given employment they said that 450 youths are provided employment in a day."

The Congress chief further questioned the Prime Minister's silence over issues like farm crisis and Dalit atrocities.

Rahul also cornered the Centre over demonetisation and GST and said, "Prime Minister Modi is backward-looking thought caused demonetisation and GabbarSinghTax. I request Prime Minister Modi to learn from Siddaramaiah, who responded to farm crisis by waiving their loans and delivering on his promises."

Rahul further said that that previous Karnataka government-led by then chief minister B. S. Yeddyurappa was the most corrupt.

"Prime Minister Modi talks about corruption. But he forgets that it was the BJP government led by B. S. Yeddyurappa that broke the record in corruption," he added.

He further continued his tirade against the Centre over the Rafale deal and said, "Today, the Rafale mystery is another example of major corruption in BJP government."

He also hailed the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government and said, "We are proud to say that Siddaramaia government was a clean administration. When we come to power next, we will work twice as hard. Karnataka is not built by any single person but by women, youth, and its labour."

Rahul began his tour titled Jana Aashirwada Yatre earlier today in the view of the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka.
