Lucknow: Former Chief Secretary and Chairman Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, RK Tiwari; Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Arvind Kumar; Additional Chief Secretary Ayush, Aradhana Shukla and Labor Commissioner, Shakuntala Gautam are retiring tomorrow.

These officers have been handling important assignments.  

Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has been the Chief Secretary of the state and held various important posts from Lucknow to Delhi. IID Commissioner, Arvind Kumar has also been the Principal Secretary, Home in the State. Apart from being DM of important districts like Nainital, Aradhana Shukla was also posted in Secondary Education Department. Her husband Pradeep Shukla has also been an prominent IAS who was quite influential during Mayawati's rule in the state. However CBI investigation in the NHRM scam dented his reputation.

Lobbying intensified for IIDC

According to Dynamite News correspondent, lobbying has intensified in the state about the posting of new Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC). Who will be the incumbent, is a talking point in the corridoors of power. However the names of Manoj Kumar Singh, Sanjeev Mittal and Amit Mohan Prasad are taking rounds, the 'Pandits' believe that Shashi Prakash Goyal will have a big say in this appointment.

More changes are awaited

IAS officers of 1998 batch have been promoted to the post of Principal Secretary and 2007 batch officers have been promoted to the post of Secretary. Among them, Alok Kumar, Anil Kumar Sagar, Ajay Chauhan, Anil Kumar, Pandhari Yadav, Neena Sharma have been promoted to the post of Principal Secretary, while Noida's DM Suhas LY, Sheetal Verma, Alok Tiwari, Chaitra V, GS Naveen Kumar, Muthuswamy, Prabhu Narayan Singh, Abhay, Dr. Adarsh Singh have been promoted to the post of Secretary.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, the promoted officers may get new postings soon.
