CM Yogi Adityanath to wear unique Terracotta Rakhis crafted by women artisans

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will have rakhis made from Gorakhpur soil adorning his wrist with special arrangements for women. These rakhis were made from the citys traditional terracotta art with unique designs created by women who were involved in Atrangi sculpture. The Chief Ministers Office received two hundred terracotta rakhis on Thursday including traditional floral and leaf patterns as well as rakhis with tricolor themes for Independence Day. On August 9 the women will witness the Chief Ministers bond with his homeland and the labor-intensive rakhis will intensify. Since it was named a district one product of Gorakhpur terracotta art has acquired a new identity and market.

Lucknow: This Raksha Bandhan Chief Minister Yogi Adityanaths wrist will be adorned with rakhis crafted from Gorakhpur soil. For women special arrangements were made. The unique aspect is that the citys traditional terracotta art was used to create these rakhis.

Special designs have been prepared by women who are associated with Atrangi art. These were made by hand by them and combine the scent of the soil Gorakhpurs identity and a hint of tradition.

On behalf of One District One Product two hundred terracotta rakhis were delivered to the Chief Ministers Office on Thursday for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. These include tricolor-themed rakhis in honor of Independence Day as well as traditional floral and leaf designs.

The color of the labor-intensive rakhis made by the women on CM Yogis wrist will intensify on August 9. When these women see the Chief Ministers bond with his homeland they become very excited.
