Former UP Minister Sushil Tibrewal meets kids
Nautanwa (Maharajganj): A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Nautanwa town of Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shaken humanity. Rajendra Nagar Ward resident Luv Kumar Patwa, who used to support his family by selling bangles, had lost his wife a month ago. Now only two sons, 12-year-old Rajveer and 10-year-old Devraj were left with him.
The sad thing was that three days ago, Luv Kumar's health suddenly deteriorated, but due to poverty and lack of treatment, he died in his own house. The children did not even understand that their father was no longer in this world. The body remained in the house for two days, when the smell arose, the neighbors understood the matter.
The most shameful thing was that neither the people of the locality nor the administration or the municipality helped the children. Both the innocent children had to pull a cart themselves to take their father's dead body to the crematorium. The last rites could not be performed there due to lack of wood. The dejected children reached the cemetery with the dead body, but there too they were refused saying that this place is only for minorities.
Kids with father's dead body
The tired children set out to immerse the body in the river. But then a youth of another religion in Chapwa area saw this scene, heard the whole story from the children and went ahead and got Luv Kumar cremated with full respect according to Hindu customs. The example set by that youth became a matter of appreciation in the entire area.
As soon as the information of this heart-rending incident was aired on Dynamite News, there was a stir in the entire state. Later, senior Samajwadi Party leader and former minister of Uttar Pradesh government Sushil Kumar Tibrewal reached the spot. SP district president Vidyasagar Yadav and local leader Baiju Yadav were also present with him.
The former minister provided immediate financial assistance to the children and assured that he would take this matter to Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav so that the children can get more help.
