Shravasti: Aa many as ten unrecognized madrasas closed in Bhinga and Jamunha tehsil area here in Shravasti district adjacent to Nepal. District Magistrate (DM) Ajay Kumar Dwivedi has formed a team under the SDM to investigate such madarsas and take action against them, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The operators have been asked to submit documents related to madrasa within two days.
On Saturday, a team led by Bhinga SDM Ashish Bhardwaj inspected Madrasa Darul Uloom Gulzare Madargarh, Madrasa Imdadul Uloom Karamiya Shahpur Shivdin, Arabia Gulshan Mustafa Sada Raza Parsa Dehriya, Arabia Gausia Shafi ul Uloom Ashraf Nagar, Sirajul Uloom Shahpur Kala, Jamia Masoodia Warimul Uloom Bhangha Bazar and Madrasa Ahle Sunnat Madar ul Uloom Tal Baghaura.
Documents related to recognition were sought from the madrasa operators. The team closed all the madrasas when valid documents were not provided.
Meanwhile, SDM Jamunaha Sanjay Kumar Rai, along with District Minority Welfare Officer Devendra Ram, inspected Madrasa Jamia Abu Bakar Anwarul Quran located in village Jamunaha Bhavaniapur, Madrasa Al Jamiyatul Arabia Ahle Sunnat Utaul Uloom located in village Srinagar and Madrasa Al Jamiyatulhuda Gandhi Gram located in Fatehpur Bangai. As the madrasa operators could not submit the documents, those were closed.
On the other hand, SDM Jamunaha Sanjay Kumar Rai, along with District Minority Welfare Officer Devendra Ram, inspected Madrasa Jamia Abu Bakar Anwarul Quran located in village Jamunaha Bhavaniyapur, Madrasa Al Jamiatul Arabia Ahle Sunnat Utaul Uloom in village Srinagar and Madrasa Al Jamiatulhuda Gandhi Gram located in Fatehpur Bangai. The madrasa operators could not present the documents. On this, he closed these madrasas.
Madrasa Islamia Arabia Anwarul Uloom, operating in Majra Bangai of Fatehpur Bangai, is recognized by the Basic Education Department. During the investigation by SDM and Minority Welfare Officer on Saturday, the records related to the madrasa operation were found correct, but the land on which the madrasa building is built was found recorded as Naveen Pariti in the revenue records.
During interrogation, madrasa manager Meraj Ahmed told the SDM that the school is registered in the records of consolidation. The building was built on this basis.
When the SDM asked for the papers, the manager could not provide them. The SDM asked the madrasa manager to show the documents in two days. He warned that if the documents were not found, the building would be demolished with a bulldozer.
