Nissan’s new bold SUV Tekton ready to shake up India’s Market in 2026

Nissan has revealed its upcoming C-segment SUV, the Tekton, set for a mid-2026 launch in India. With bold design, hybrid powertrain, ADAS, and premium features, the Tekton aims to rival Creta, Seltos, and Grand Vitara in the competitive SUV market.

New Delhi: Japan's renowned automobile company, Nissan, has announced a new SUV, the Nissan Tekton. It will be a C-segment SUV and is planned to be launched in India in mid-2026.

The company has also publicly showcased its production-ready model for the first time. Additionally, the SUV has already been privately showcased to selected dealers in the country.

Design and Exterior Highlights

The Nissan Titan's design is completely new and bold. Its appearance is muscular and strong, giving it a true SUV appeal. It features a flat bonnet and a modern front fascia. The front features protruding LED DRLs, centered on the Nissan logo.

Vertical LED headlamps and a split lighting setup give it an aggressive appearance. The rugged front bumper further strengthens its SUV stance. At the rear, the car features LED taillight bars, square tail lamps, and a spoiler. Large alloy wheels give it a premium and dynamic look.

The teaser reveals that the Nissan Tekton's interior will feature a sleek and layered dashboard design. It is expected to feature several premium and high-tech features:

• ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)

The Nissan Tekton will be built on the CMF-B platform, which also powers the new Renault Duster. This SUV is expected to come to India in two options:
