New Delhi: Nissan is preparing to introduce its new compact MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) in the Indian market soon. It has been almost five years since the company launched the Nissan Magnite in India, and now it is returning with a new high-volume model. Recently, this new MPV was spotted testing in India for the first time.

Nissan is striving to give its new MPV a distinct and premium look.According to spy photos, it features a new radiator grille, a sportier air intake design at the bottom of the bumper, and a new alloy wheel pattern. At the rear, the taillamp graphics and bumper design have also been changed to distinguish it from the Triber. The interior will be comfortable and equipped with useful features.
The interior of the upcoming Nissan MPV will be largely similar to the Renault Triber. It may see slight changes in the upholstery, dashboard decor, and color scheme.
The car will come with a 7-seater layout, with removable third-row seats to increase boot space if needed.
The second-row seats will come with sliding, reclining, and fold-and-tumble functions, providing greater comfort and flexibility for passengers.

The new Nissan MPV will be powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 71 hp and 96 Nm of torque. This engine will be available with both a 5-speed manual and an AMT (automated manual transmission) option.
The car will be wider, taller, and longer than the Datsun GO+, offering more cabin space.
The company plans to launch this new MPV in February 2026. Its ex-showroom price is expected to start around ₹5.75 lakh.
