The incident occurred on November 29 at a hotel where the bride’s family was staying. The groom’s relatives had arrived from a nearby village for the wedding.

According to police reports, the brawl erupted immediately after the wedding rituals concluded, when the bride’s family noticed that rasgullas had run out at the food counter.
The video begins with guests gathering around the food stalls. Within moments, tensions escalated into a full-blown fight. Guests grabbed whatever they could chairs, plates, and other items to attack each other. The bride and groom were reportedly on their way to the wedding hall when the melee broke out, forcing the celebrations to halt abruptly. Several people sustained injuries during the chaos.

Mahendra Prasad, the groom’s father, confirmed that the fight began over the shortage of rasgullas. He also alleged that the bride’s family later filed a “false dowry case” against them following the altercation. Despite the fight, the groom’s family reportedly wanted the wedding to continue, while the bride’s family chose to call it off.

The groom’s mother, Munni Devi, claimed that the bride’s relatives took jewelry brought as gifts during the fight. She also stated that her family had paid for the hotel booking. Following the cancellation, the bride’s family officially filed a dowry case, as confirmed by local police.
The video quickly went viral, with social media users expressing shock and disbelief at the reason behind the violent clash.
