Mahendra Prasad, the groom’s father, confirmed that the fight began over the shortage of rasgullas. He also alleged that the bride’s family later filed a “false dowry case” against them following the altercation. Despite the fight, the groom’s family reportedly wanted the wedding to continue, while the bride’s family chose to call it off.
