Schools, colleges, hospitals, and government institutions in Delhi have been receiving fake bomb threat emails in the past as well. Recently, the Chief Minister's Secretariat and Maulana Azad Medical College also received similar emails. All the emails proved to be fake, but they were taken seriously for security reasons.
The Cyber Cell of Delhi Police has started investigating the threatening email. Initial investigations suspect that the email has been sent through a VPN so that the real location can be hidden. The police are trying to identify the source and sender of the email.
