New Delhi: The murder of a young man on Holi in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area has shocked the entire city. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the incident. She stated that the government has a zero-tolerance policy for such heinous and violent incidents in the capital and that such brutality will not be tolerated at any cost.

Tragic Incident on Holi

According to reports, 26-year-old Tarun was brutally murdered on Holi in Uttam Nagar. This incident created tension in the entire area. The Chief Minister described it as a deeply saddening and shocking incident. She stated that such violence on a festival day is extremely unfortunate and the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances.

Instructions for Strict Action Against the Perpetrators

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given clear instructions to the administration and police officials to arrest all those involved in this crime as soon as possible. She stated that strict and swift action will be taken against the culprits under the law. Violence Escalated from a Minor Dispute

According to police sources, the incident began with a minor dispute. It is reported that a water balloon thrown by an 11-year-old girl splashed color on a woman while playing Holi in the area. Although an apology was later offered, the situation escalated into violence.

Youth Killed in Attack

It is alleged that some people attacked the young man with iron rods, bricks, and stones. The seriously injured youth was admitted to a hospital, where he died during treatment. Following the incident, tension spread in the area, and people protested. There were reports of vehicles being set on fire in some locations and demonstrations outside the police station.

Police have so far arrested eight people in connection with the case, including a minor. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are examining every aspect of the matter.
