Action Based on Complaint

According to officials, the operation was launched after a complaint from Brahmadev Yadav, a resident of Gauripur. He alleged that employees in the land acquisition department were demanding money to process work related to land matters.

After receiving the complaint, the Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a preliminary verification and planned a trap to catch the accused in the act.

Officers Enter Office in Disguise

To ensure the success of the operation, a five-to-six member ACB team reached the Collectorate in plain clothes. The team included officers of DSP and inspector rank.

The officials posed as ordinary visitors. Wearing simple clothes and carrying bags like regular citizens, they entered the office without attracting attention. Their appearance did not raise suspicion among the staff present at the premises.
