The police have recently filed a 790-page chargesheet.
790-Page Chargesheet Filed in Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case
The chargesheet contains several pieces of technical evidence, including the murder conspiracy, planning, place of murder, and mobile location of the accused.
According to Additional Public Prosecutor Tushar Chandra, the entire case file is yet to be reviewed. Bail is likely to be opposed, as it is a pre-planned murder involving multiple accused and incriminating evidence.
Sonam's bail plea will have a crucial hearing on September 17. If the court finds flaws in the chargesheet, she may get bail, but if the prosecution presents solid evidence, her bail plea may also be rejected. This case not only highlights the complexity of domestic relationships but also shows the level of crime and planning, which is usually seen in films.
