New Delhi: In a shocking incident of Muzaffarnagar, a violent clash between two groups of youths ended with one person dead and another critically injured. The police have arrested two brothers in connection with the murder, which reportedly arose from a dispute over talking with a young woman.
The incident occurred near Green Chamber School in Patel Nagar, within the jurisdiction of Nai Mandi Kotwali, where a Ramleela was going on. As youths were returning from watching the event, a confrontation broke out between two groups.

During the scuffle, 19-year-old Shiva, son of Dharmendra and a resident of Shivpuri Colony, was stabbed in the abdomen. His companion, Ritik also from Shivpuri, sustained stab injuries to the ear and neck.
Both were rushed to the district hospital, from where Shiva was referred to Meerut due to the severity of his injuries. Tragically, he died on the way. Ritik was admitted to Anand Hospital on Bhopa Road. Shiva, the only son in a family with three sisters, left the family devastated.

Shiva’s mother, Deepmala, expressed grief and anger, stating that “blood must be avenged with blood.” Family members created a scene at the district hospital, demanding strict action against the perpetrators.
The officials confirmed that two brothers, Rajeev and Himanshu of village Kukra, Nai Mandi, have been arrested. A case has also been filed against four unidentified individuals, whose identities are being traced. Shiva’s last rites were performed on Tuesday evening at Bhopa Road cremation ground.

Rajeev had a connection with a girl from Shivpuri Colony, which Shiva reportedly disapproved of. The girl regularly attended the Ramleela, although she was absent on the night of the incident. Shiva and his friends planned to confront Rajeev, Himanshu, and their associates after the Ramleela.
During the altercation, Rajeev and Himanshu allegedly stabbed Shiva and Ritik. Evidence suggests the attackers had brought the knife along with them to the event.
