Mumbai: Actor singer Diljit Dosanjh seems to be in trouble as there was already a debate about the actor working with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, but now this controversy seems to be deepening, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Now there is a ruckus about Diljit Dosanjh working in the film 'Border 2'. The shooting of the film is underway at the National Defense Academy (NDA), Pune, regarding which the largest organization of the film industry, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
FWICE has clearly demanded in its letter that the shooting permission given to 'Border 2' should be canceled immediately. The organization says that Diljit Dosanjh has already been officially boycotted, so allowing him to shoot a film at a place like the country's defense establishment is against national sentiment.
FWICE also alleged in its letter that Diljit has recently worked with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film 'Sardar Ji 3', which is being released at a time when the country has recently gone through a terrorist attack like Pahalgam. In this context, the organization said that such association of Diljit hurts the sentiments of those who sacrifice for the country.

FWICE says that NDA is not just a shooting location, but a symbol of national pride. In such a situation, the film of any actor who is currently facing public and professional boycott should not be shot there. The organization also warned that this type of shooting can reduce the dignity of the country's security establishments.
Diljit Dosanjh said that the film was shot in February 2025, when the situation was normal and there was no tension in Indo-Pak relations. He said,"When this film was made, everything was fine. After that many big incidents happened which were not in our control. So the producers decided that now this film will not be released in India, but overseas."
Diljit also said that he fully supports this decision of the producers, because a huge investment has been made in the film and the hard work of many people is involved.
